Obituary for Katherine Emalia Kahapea

Age 73 of Honolulu passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 in Honolulu. She was born in Honolulu and retired from the Honolulu Advertiser. She is survived by sons Sherwin-Sean Akimseu, Garrett Kainalu Gaspar and Paul Nalua Kahapea Jr; daughter Paget Emalia Almodova; brother Kenneth Akimseu; siblings Ernestine Kealoha, Diane Yadao (Tante), Kimberly Michele (Paul), Roberta Banks, Kenneth “Brada” Akim-Seu (Ella), Patricia “Kainoa” Hodson (Mike), Candace Johnson; Father Ernest Ah-Fook Akim-Seu; Stepfather Woodrow Ah Kawai Young; 8 Grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation 5 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary-East Chapel, service 6:30 p.m. Committal service 9 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Hawaii State Veteran’s Cemetery in Kaneohe. Casual attire.
